Our honeymoon is over and we are back to New York. We already received first pictures from our wedding day, which I shared via email. If you didn’t receive the email, please let us know.

We are all meeting at Postojna Caves parking lot at 11 am. The bus is leaving San Martin at 9:30 am, Vila Vipolže at 9:45 am.

We are all in Slovenia! The party is here! Please do not forget that if you RSVP’d for the tour of Castle Vipolže, you should be ready to meet at the parking lot in front of the Bled Castle at 9:30 am on Sunday. And if you are taking the boats to the island, plan to be at the boat launch in front of Vila Bled by 11:15 am. Please don’t be late. If your plans change, please let Milos know ASAP. If not coming, we’ll see you all at the Pri Marjotu restaurant at 6:30 pm!

We have prepared an extensive 6-day program for you! You can view the final program as a Google Spreadsheet or on the For Guests web page. You can also upload the Google Maps List of all important venues and locations to your phone for navigation. Tickets for Bled Castle and Postojna Cave are already prepaid and distributed by Milos. Please do not be late since our group will not be allowed to enter late.

We are in Ljubljana! Today was a hot day, but the weather cooled down in the afternoon. That said, it’s quite hot – dress comfortably for the wedding. We will also have to organize the wedding day lunch in the cellar on the Villa to avoid the scorching heat.

At the last moment the restaurant for our rehearsal dinner (the San Martin hotel) fell through. We have a couple replacement options, but we will know the definitive location of the rehearsal dinner only on Thursday. Fingers crossed!

We can’t wait to see you all in a few days in Slovenia! Minor hiccups can’t stop us!

We are in the airport to fly to Slovenia just now! From now onward we will be updating the website almost daily and the final details are ironed out. Here is a brief update for today:

• We have 70 guests signed up for the bus to Postojna Cave on Monday, July 4th, but there are only 49 seats in the bus and 39 of those seats are taken by guests arriving from the Czech Republic who don’t have a car. We need to ask those who have a car to drive their cars and possibly even carpool. We will contact those who have a seat on the bus soon.
• We were unable to reserve restaurants for lunches in Bled and in Postojna since our group is too large to be seated. Instead, lunches on Sunday and Monday will not be organized. There are multiple restaurants and kiosks both around Lake Bled and around Postojna Cave. We will reserve 90 minutes for everyone to find their own place to have lunch.
• There will be some last minute changes in the program. For now nothing to announce yet, but please use this blog to check on the latest updates.

Information about COVID-19 testing sites near our wedding venue and about the precautions we plan to take during our wedding has been posted on our FAQ page. The good news is that the COVID-19 cases in Slovenia and Italy are very low.

We want to let you know that starting June 1st, there are no COVID restrictions for travel to Italy or Slovenia. No tests or vaccination certificates are required.

We have less than one month to go! Please finalize your RSVPs to our program as soon as possible. Hotel San Martin still has a few rooms available, so if you want to stay there, contact Milos immediately. If you have any questions, email Milos to get those questions answered via our FAQ page.
